Starting in 2014 with only 8, the CartGirl invitational has grown to 24 guys.
A weekend of Ryder Cup style matches and some good ol' boy antics.
Bill is an absolute maniac, former CRTGRL MVP, and the type of guy you wish you had in your friend group. He's not the best golfer in the world but he sure is fun to watch hack up the course on a Monday afternoon.
Brad is in his rookie year at CGI and a welcomed addition to the good guys team. A Coast Guard that is not only a life saver but makes the group overall a lot cooler. We see a lot of CGIs in his future.
Chris, another rookie at CRTGRL this year, coming all the way from down unda. As an Aussie, you get immediate satisfaction when you have the opportunity to listen to his commentary on the course. He's also got a sweet stache.
Chris is a founding member and the one writing all of these bios. Not much to say other than he loves to help throw the event every year, looks for the best people to join and ultimately making it as memorable as it can be. He also hates to throw himself out first in a match, per Dez.
Chuck is a lawyer, a husband, a friend, and most importantly the bougiest dresser in the lot. Don't be surprised when he's a rocking a belt and shoe combo that costs more than your mortgage. He's going to be lethal this year on team good guys.
Cole is making his way back into CGI after a hiatus last year. This man loves to talk trash, beat you in guts, talk a little more trash, and then win money from you during each event. You love to hate playing against him. Great jawline too.
Cole Skinner joined Marcus and Millichap’s Tampa office in August 2018. He specializes in Retail with a focus on Single Tenant Net Lease properties in the Northeast United States region. Cole is also close with Wade, who runs the bad guys team, not going to hold it against him though.
Conner is a longtime member of CGI and wasn't always the coolest cucumber on the course. After many years of having 2 boys at home, he has begun to view this golf weekend as a nice getaway and something to enjoy while playing golf for the first time since the last CGI.
Cory is the second best lefty on the team and one of the more consistent winning players at CGI. He brings a lot of laughs and smiles to the guts table every time and there's no doubt that his old teammates will miss him this year.
Dez is a founding member and the main reason we've been able to stay consistent for 10 years at CGI. He's the glue, even though it might be Elmer's, that keeps a lot of us together. He's not the most patient golfer in the world but he's fun to watch.
Jesse is returning after a killer first year at CGI. He might be a few years older than most at CGI, but he's definitely in better shape than most too. Team good guys are happy to have him and there's a good chance he's in the MVP running.
Tim is the Jon Daly of CGI. Not only the most fun guy to play a round of golf with, but the best player in the county. There's an old wives tale that says Tim shot a cool 65 at Belleair and on the way home won $5k on a scratch ticket. Hoping he can do the same at CGI2025.
If you follow Alex on any social platforms you'll know he recently got engaged, plays a ton of golf, has a sick shoe collection, loves to drink good red wine, and recently started another golf tournament - not cool. He always makes a statement with his golf fit and his handicap is trending in a good direction.
Ben is Dez's bro-in-law, making the Menendez family even more attractive. As one of the nicer guys at CGI, Ben loves to bring the dad energy to the group, offering an assortment of snacks and bevies for his flatmates. Not sure he as a win yet but this could be the year!
Brett doesn't always take photos as good as the one above but he is a tall handsome drink of water. His golf game is even hotter, blasting his drives on a string 280+ down the fairway. With Elam on your team, you're guaranteed a good shot to get a win.
Bryan, an OG member and operating parter in CGI has won an MVP, produced the swag for the last 10 years, and always brings his A game on the course. The Achilles heel to his game might just be the presence of Dez. There's always a chance Bryan goes 3-0 on the weekend so if you play against him, try harder.
Evan is the young gun at CGI and while most might not admit it, the guy we are a little jealous of. Can't quite point it out specifically but there's something about the guy that makes you feel like you're missing out. Maybe we will figure it out this trip, who knows. Also he's "captain of the deadbeat list".
Jason, a father, former professional baseball player, and big smaller brother to Tim is a long time CGI member. He wears a size 16 shoe, which only means one thing, his sun protecting arm sleeves are large. He can also hit the ball a mile and always has a good time talking sh*t on and off the course.
Where do we begin with Dickinson? He's... a lot. A lot of muscle, energy, and a lot of volume. He also plays a lot of golf and has gotten a lot better since the first CGI he played in. One of the things we love about Dick is that he showed up to a CGI weekend even though he wasn't able to play that year to hang out and play guts. Not sure what this would be without Dickson.
There's no verifiable photo of Kyle online, which is fine because everyone knows him and how awesome he is. A few years back he brought goody bags for everyone with sunscreen, snacks, and some other old man stuff. Best part was, the CGI logo was on it! Pumped to have Kyle back at CGI, hoping he never has to miss one again.
Miles sounds like he looks and rounds out the real estate portfolio of the group. After joining Innisbrook, they dropped their dues 50%, resulting in them getting an earful and (hopefully) Miles getting some satisfaction. He's always the top 3 quickest members to commit to CGI and after a few years of being part of this event, genuinely has made it more fun for Wade.
Ryan is a pharmicist on and off the golf course. He understands the role he plays at CGI, staying consistent off the tee box and usually getting a W for his team. Team bad guys should be happy to have him because he's annoying to play against. Also, a new father, so leaving a ~2 month old behind for two nights isn't the easiest and I'm sure his wife loves him for it.
Tim was attacked by a giant bird last year 30 minutes before the first tee time. What he got out of it - a free seltzer and now a lifetime of being afraid of birds on a golf course. The larger Kiley is always a good time and someone we all look up to, literally. We all know him well at the guts table and it's likely this year is no different.
Also, no good photo of Tim and certainly not using his college baseball photo or else we'd have to do that for everyone.
Wade is an original founding member and main staple at CGI. The guy works hard in his career and when he gets out on the course during CGI, the intensity doesn't go away. We once saw him crack a rib (we think it was his liver) mid-round, which lead to a slower, much smoother swing resulting in much better contact. Without Wade, CGI wouldn't be what it is and we should all be grateful for his commitment to making it funnest weekend of the year.
